While completing this module I came across many new ways of learning and test taking strategies. One of them that I would like to highlight and what I felt was very important was in the Multiple-choice test taking strategies. In this specific module it discussed to identify ” Positive words” in the question which are key words to help you come up with the right answer. This module reinforced clinical content because it demonstrates ways that we can identify clinical words and phrases so it can help us to start to think more like nurses.
Although this is a test taking strategy, I do feel like I can apply it to patient care in the future. This module taught me to identify key words in the problems so I can come up with the right answer, but it is essentially the same when listening to what the patient has to say about their health condition and now, I am able to identify and interpret what they have to say so I can come up with the best care plan possible.
